4.5 stars. This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant that's fit for foodies. All of our dishes, from appetizer to dessert, were flavorful and beautifully presented. The mixed drinks were creative and well prepared. Our server was attentive, energetic and knowledgeable. The food was overall delicious and the vibe was fantastic. We had a great time.

Two things slightly missed the mark for me:
    1) The halibut was far over cooked and hard, rather than the tender and delicate flakiness I typically see with this fish. The chef had the right idea with the sear technique and seasoning, but just cooked it far too long. As it is local seafood, the halibut should be a signature, centerpiece dish for this restaurant.
    2) I'd like to see a broader variety of beer styles from local breweries.

What an average date night out.  My husband & I are in town from the East Bay & based on the reviews and it's location to our AirBNB, we thought it would be a great place to eat.

We were wrong!  We sat outside, on the front patio, which is also close to where people like to smoke so we smelled that during our dinner...  The waitress was slow!  While we weren't in any rush, it's one thing to be slow & another to have good service.  She was slow!  Once our food finally came, it was filled with salt.  My husband got the burger & I the salmon; both were extremely salty!!

All in all, we'd definitely recommend finding something else.

Very disappointing dinner.  We read reviews and were excited to try a new place in La Jolla.  There is outdoor seating which is very loud, bar seating, and indoor seating booths and tables that can accommodate larger groups.
There is a happy hour menu and a full menu. Service was prompt and friendly.  Not a lot of craft beer selection, good wine selection.
As you first walk in there is an odor that is hard to get past, almost like a dirty dish rag that wiped the tables down.  Not sure what it was.
The menus were really discussing, crusted food and stained.
We opted for a few of the happy hour specials.  The lettuce wraps were bland, the califlower "wings" were terrible, soggy, not warm, not a lot of "wing" sauce taste, and the yogurt dressing on the side was not really a good pairing.  Shrimp Tacos were very small, and had two tiny shrimp to each one.  They are served on a corn taco which was overpowering for the bland seasonings.
Overall not impressed and do not recommend.

I'll start by saying I totally forgot to take a picture before I dug in-oops! But regardless, YUM! Came here with a friend for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. They weren't very busy and we were seated immediately. Service was friendly and the food came fast. Their "coast toast" is a must try if you haven't had it before. If you aren't a French toast fan (like myself), I'm still confident you'll like it. I found the breakfast potatoes to be a little hard/crispy for my liking, but the person I was with thought they were perfect. I guess that's a preference thing so I can knock them for that. Overall I can confidently recommend the breakfast food. We didn't dabble in drinks or any extras on this trip, but I'd be inclined to come back for lunch or dinner based on my breakfast experience.

Went here for lunch and had the fried chicken sandwich. I won't order it again if I go back. Although it comes with some special sauce, I found it to be pretty dry. Also, very pricey for the quality of food that it was. Service was ok, nothing bad but nothing special either. Could have been a little more at tentative,  my water was never refilled.
